SEOUL, Jan 1 Asia Pulse - South Korea called on its diplomatic missions abroad on Saturday to take extra safety precautions following the execution of former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, Foreign Ministry officials said.

The advisory was issued due to concern of a possible backlash from his followers.
