BEIJING, Jan 1 Asia Pulse - The supply and demand of electric power in China will be balanced in 2007 though regional imbalances with tight supply in some regions and oversupply in some others will also appear, according to a forecast made by Wang Yonggan, secretary general of the China Electricity Council.
Regions originally suffering from power shortages, such as North China, East China and some provinces in South China, will see a basic balance in 2007, but some other regions may see a shortage due to climate and other factors.
