CHINA URGED TO BEEF UP SERVICES TRADE.
BEIJING, Jan 1 Asia Pulse - China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) on December 28 published the Report on Service Trade Development in China, urging China to seize the opportunities occurred in current service trade transfer.
The report points out the focus of international industrial transfer to China is shifting from manufacturing industry to service industry.
Of the world's total economic volume, service industry makes up over 60 per cent.
Finance, insurance, tourism and consultation are now major sectors where international transfers are conducted.
To match with development of service industry, service trade will for sure develop rapidly, and the world's trade competition will be more service trade competition.
The MOC will mainly do work in the following fields in 2007 to ensure coordinated development of service trade sector: to promote development of key areas of service trade sector; to promote cultural export and export of such key departments as computer and information service, transport, finance and insurance to form a ...
