JAKARTA, Jan 1 Asia Pulse - State-run telecommunications company PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia has projected a 47 per cent growth (6.023 million) in Flexi phone connections (SSF) in 2007, up from 4.1 million SSF this year, a spokesman said.
Telkom therefore needs as many as 934 Base Transceiver Stations (BTS), Muhammad Awaluddin, deputy head of PT Telkom's Public and Marketing Communications division said here on Friday.
"We consider to expand our services to the eastern parts of Indonesia," he said.
