SEOUL, Jan 1 Asia Pulse - South Korean companies' investment in overseas gas and oil reserves is expected to surpass US$2 billion next year, the government said Sunday.
According to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, the investment in foreign gas and oil development is expected to reach $2.06 billion in 2007, up 32.9 per cent from $1.6 billion in 2006. In 2005, it stood at $950 million.
