Ford will offer information to its car buyers in its automobile showrooms on how its customers can enroll in its Greener Miles program by signing onto TerraPass. This investment into TerraPass would then be reinvested into clean energy from sources like solar energy, wind farms, methane capture facilities and more. The clean energy produced from that investment would displace the 8,099 lbs of CO2 (carbon dioxide) per year that driving a 2006 Ford Focus produces. Those investing in TerraPass receive a certification of the investment and a money back guarantee, as well as window decals and bumper ...
