Nearly nine in ten Americans have an unfavorable opinion of Iran, and in most recent polls, Iran is named as the greatest danger to the United States. Roughly two thirds of Americans see a nuclear Iran as a major threat to the United States, but believe the situation should be dealt with diplomatically for now. They are not confident about the United Nations' ability to handle the situation.
