Providing complex digital printing is where there's money to be made, predicts Frank Romano during an Electronic Publishing webcast he hosted in March called "Trends and Opportunities for Digital Printing."

"The printing companies that can print offset and digital will be the most successful," he states. "The key in the future will be hybrid printing--combining offset and digital jobs. Therefore, we need papers that either run on both [types of machines] or that have the same look and feel."
