Dec. 24--PANAMA CITY -- Lisa Jemison knows that even though she lost a son, several people she doesn't know might get another chance at life.

Jemison's son, Brandon, was taken off life support Friday morning at Bay Medical Center. Six of his organs left Bay County; one was flown as far away as London to help save a stranger's life.

"It's a tragic time for us, but God allowed it to be a blessing for someone else," Lisa Jemison said, as she choked back tears. "It's the hardest thing I had to do. But that's what Brandon would have wanted. He had that kind of heart."
