National Credit Executive of the Year
Gary White, CCE is the National Credit Executive of the Year. This award goes to an individual who epitomizes an outstanding credit professional. Mr. White, HVCS Manager for Waste Management in Houston, TX, earned his CCE designation in 1992 and the Certified Expert Witness (CEW) certificate in 1998. Mr. White is a supporter of NACM-National as well as his Affiliated Association, NACM South Texas. He is a former member of the NACM-National Board of Directors and the NACM South Texas Board of Directors, as well as numerous other national and local committees. He was awarded the Credit Executive of the Year Award from NACM South Texas in 1995. He is a long-standing advocate of improving legislation beneficial to the business credit profession, having served on both his local and national Government Affairs Committees. Mr. White is also currently serving on the National Bankruptcy Work Group.
CCE Designation of Excellence
This year's CCE Designation of Excellence Award goes to Valerie Venable, CCE. Ms. Venable is the Credit Manager for GE Advanced Materials in Huntersville, NC. She earned her CCE in 1992 and the Certified Expert Witness (CEW) certificate in 1996. She is an alumnus of the Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management. Ms. Venable has served on numerous National committees as well as having served as NACM-National's Chairman from 2001-2002. Ms. Venable is presently chairing the National Bankruptcy Work Group and the National Government Affairs Committee.
CBF Designation of Excellence
Lourdes Mulligan, CBF, Senior Credit Analyst for National Oilwell Varco, Inc. in Houston, TX, receives the CBF Designation of Excellence Award. She earned her CBF designation in 1985 and was awarded the NACM South Texas Credit Executive of the Year honor in 2005. Ms. Mulligan is currently serving as a member of NACM South Texas' Board of Directors.
