NACM's 2006 Award Winners will be honored at die Opening General Session of the annual Credit Congress & Exposition on Monday, May 22, 2006 at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. Over one thousand business credit executives will be on hand to celebrate the achievement of the 2006 Award recipients.

Final award selection is determined by a screening and selection process overseen by a dedicated committee of other experts in the field of credit management. Awards celebrate the winners, whose extraordinary commitment, dedication and service to the advancement of the credit profession are honored.

Following are the Awards that will be presented, as well as the criteria used in evaluating the nominees.

NACM NatiOnal Participation and Volunteer Service A nominees' service on an NACM national committee or task force, or National Board service are considered as are participation at nationally-sponsored conferences, programs and events.

NACM Local and Regional Participation and Volunteer Service A nominees' service on an NACM Affiliate and CFDD Chapter committee, task force or Board are considered as are participation in NACM locally- and regionally-sponsored conferences, programs and events.

NACM Industry Credit Group Participation A nominees' volunteer service as an industry credit group Committee Member or Chairman is considered.

Continuing Education Participation A nominees' attendance at national, regional and local conferences and seminars, college courses/degrees, online courses and participation in formal education programs such as the Graduate School of Credit & Financial Management, Mid-Career School, Credit Administration Program, and/or Advanced Credit Administration Program is considered.
