Dec. 15--DAYTON, Ohio--Wake Forest pulled out a turnover-riddled 55-49 win over Wright State last night.
Wake Forest extended its winning streak to six games, improving to 7-2. Wright State fell to 1-8.
Sophomores Corinne Groves and Alex Tchangoue sparked the Deacons' offense. Groves had 13 points and 14 rebounds, while Tchangoue finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Sophomore Yolanda Lavender led Wake Forest in scoring for the seventh straight game, with 18 points.
Freshman Courteney Morris had a team-high four steals, giving her 19 for the season.
