WASHINGTON, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Enrollment and satisfaction in consumer-driven health plans -- which have reduced premiums but higher deductibles -- remain low, a U.S. survey shows.
As of September, 1 percent of privately insured people between the ages of 21 and 64 were in consumer-driven or high-deductible health plans, the Employee Benefits Research Institute and the Commonwealth Fund survey said. This percentage was unchanged from the previous year.
