Dec. 6--A trucking company is suing a Kernersville nightclub over the loss of a tractor-trailer that was wrecked in a fatal collision two years ago.

Attorneys for the Roadway trucking company say that the nightclub is liable because the driver of the car that caused the fatal wreck was served too much alcohol, even though he was obviously drunk.

The civil trial began yesterday in Forsyth Superior Court. Roadway is asking for compensation for the tractor-trailer, while the widow of the dead truck driver is also suing to be compensated for the loss of her husband. No special amount for the damages has been discussed.
