TAIPEI, Dec 1 Asia Pulse - The overall job availability in October dropped approximately 10 per cent compared with the same month last year as the country's economy slowed down, according to an online employment service provider Thursday.
Data from the 104 Job Bank shows that job availability saw the greatest decline in the financial, car and motorcycle, beauty and hairdressing,
transportation and logistics, and publishing and culture industries.
Officials at the job bank noted that the financial industry has suffered the greatest impact from declining consumer confidence, rising interest rates and the credit card debt problem, with the industry's demand for credit card and loan agents registering a significant drop.
