275 Fender Custom Shop Tribute Series BLACKIE Stratocaster
guitars, recreations of Clapton's beloved guitar, went on sale globally on "Black Friday," November 24 at 7 a.m.(PST)/10 a.m. (EST) and by 2 p.m. (PST) all 275 guitars were sold!
This Clapton-owned guitar purchased at an historic Christie's auction, this rock & roll icon was painstakingly recreated down to the smallest detail by Fender's renowned Custom Shop Master Builders
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these guitars, each of which carried an MSRP price tag of $24,000 USD, will be donated to the Crossroads Centre in Antigua, an International Centre of Excellence founded by Clapton for the treatment of alcohol, drugs and other addictive disorders
