PERTH, Nov 30 Asia Pulse - Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) has secured long awaited approvals from the West Australian government to construct a railway to service its $A3.7 billion ($US2.89 billion) iron ore project in the Pilbara.
Construction of the railway is expected to take about 12 months.
