TAIPEI, Dec 1 Asia Pulse - Acer Co. will launch commemorative notebooks featuring Taiwan-born New York Yankees starting pitcher Wang Chien-ming in celebration of his 19 wins in the just-concluded season of the US Major League, a company spokesman said Wednesday.
Scott Lin, president of Acer's Taiwan operation, made the announcement at a press conference held to tout the laptops designed to cash in on the local "Wang fad."
The laptops will only be available in Taiwan during the upcoming annual Information Technology (IT) ...
