2001 UniServ Affirmative Action Program

NEA is seeking minority and female candidates for the 2001 UniServ Intern Program. Individuals who successfully complete the four-and-a-half week training program and the three-month field experience will be certified by the NEA as eligible for UniServ staff positions in an NEA state or local affiliate.

All individuals must be committed to moving for the three-month field experience. Requirements:

1. Ethnic minority or female as designated by the U.S. census.

2. Active NEA member for at least one year.

3. Basic knowledge and understanding of the Association at the local and state level. …
