Designed by David M. Childs of the architectural firm of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill in New York, Chemed Center at 255 Fifth, in keeping with the classical tradition, creates a striking and lasting presence on the downtown street.

Chemed Center is a building thoroughly integrated, in both form and function, into the city it serves. Architecturally, its granite facade, bay windows and terraced profile form a visual bridge between the international style of PNC Center and the older towers - Carew, Cincinnati Gas & Electric and so many others - that provide the irreplaceable links to Cincinnati's past.
