Lauri Sue Albritton

Lauri Sue Albritton, 45, Sarasota, died Dec. 10, 2000.

She was born Nov. 1, 1955, in Des Moines, Iowa, and came to Sarasota in 1972 from Marshalltown, Iowa. She was a nurse.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, George and Sandra Suddaby of Sarasota; her father, James Hulse of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; two sisters, Jamie L. Chatari of Houston and Lea Hoffman of New Versailles, Pa.; and a brother, James Hulse of New Knoxville, Ohio.

Services will be private. Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home is in charge.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.

E. Lamont Birdsall

E. Lamont Birdsall, 94, Sarasota, died Dec. 11, 2000.

He was born June 29, 1906, in Hart, Mich., and came to Sarasota 30 years ago from Cincinnati. He was a Realtor in Sarasota and was a food chemist for 30 years with Kroger Co. He graduated from Hillsdale College in Michigan. He was a member of Toastmasters and Sarasota County Board of Realtors.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Ilse B.; a daughter, Susan Warm of Cincinnati; a stepdaughter, Chris Niederpruem of Sarasota; a son, James of Orinda, Calif.; two stepsons, Don Niederpruem of Tampa and Bob Niederpruem of Vero Beach; a sister, Mary Van Leuw of Texas; a brother, Paul of New York; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel.

Memorial donations may be made to United Way of Sarasota, 1445 Second St., Sarasota, FL 34236.

Charla M. Brown

Charla M. Brown, 68, Sarasota, died Dec. 10, 2000.

She was born Dec. 6, 1932, in Sarasota and moved to Brandon in 1990 after living in New Jersey for 40 years. She retired as a technician with Ethicon Corp. in Bridgewater, N.J. She was a member of Westcoast Center for Human Development in Sarasota.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Theadore Sr.; a son, Theadore Jr. of Tampa; a daughter, Jacqueline Brown-Blackwell of Los Angeles; five brothers, Charlie Jones Jr. of Somerville, N.J., Chauncey Williams and Alfred Pompey, both of Los Angeles, Michael Chester and Ray Chester, both of Sarasota; seven sisters, Kathryn Richardson of …
