Two former Yellow Pages salesmen defect to begin their own book

Two former GTE Hawaiian Tel employees believe the time is right to give their former employer some competition.

Terry Hepler and David Akina have launched "The Paradise Pages," a new type of telephone directory which they think will appeal to both consumers and businesses.

The book is an alphabetical white pages listing of all Oahu businesses followed by the traditional "yellow" pages with business listings by category, all combined in one volume.
