SKECHERS President Receives ``Person of the Year'' Award From Footwear News Magazine.

SKECHERS USA Inc. (NYSE:SKX), a global leader in lifestyle footwear, today announced that Michael Greenberg, president of the company, has been named "Person of the Year" by leading industry trade publication, Footwear News. SKECHERS was recognized by Footwear News as Company of the Year in 1998.
SKECHERS USA board member Robert Siegel commented: "This honor recognizes the talent and commitment to excellence Michael has demonstrated over the years. Under Michael's leadership, SKECHERS has achieved many successes, including four years of record sales and earnings growth.
