WASHINGTON -- Oct-25 -- (CongressDaily) While most of the attention focused on the uninsured this election year has centered on children, a new study finds that uninsured adults also go without needed care.

Published in today's issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association, the study looked at data on more than 200,000 adults. It found that those who went without health insurance for a year or longer were two-and-a-half times more likely than those with coverage to report that they went without needed medical care…
