Domestic violence campaign launched.

A CAMPAIGN which aims to end domestic violence has received some very visual support from the emergency services. All the borough's 230 fire service staff are wearing white ribbons to back the International White Ribbon campaign.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of domestic abuse and get across the message that it should not be tolerated.

Wigan Athletic and the police will also show their support when 300 football club staff and 150 police officers wear white ribbons for Latics' home game against Liverpool on December 2 The campaign encourages men to wear a white ribbon and make a pledge that they will never commit, …
