INDONESIA'S BSP NEEDS US$15 MLN LOAN TO BUILD BIO-DIESEL PLANT
JAKARTA - Plantation company PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantation (BSP) is seeking a loan of US$15 million to finance a plan to build a bio-diesel factory.
The plant, which will cost an estimated US$25 million, will be built in cooperation with PT Rekayasa Industri with BSP holding the majority 70 per cent share.
PAKISTAN FACES SEED SHORTAGE FOR OILSEED CROPS: MINISTER
KARACHI - Federal Minister for Food, Agriculture & Livestock Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan on Monday said that shortage of seed for sowing oilseed crops and its high cost, particularly of sunflower, was the major constraint in crop cultivation in Pakistan.
He stated this while addressing a seminar organised by ICI Pakistan, Seeds Division, and Mir Khalil-ur-Rehman Memorial Society, on the topic "Hysun: Building the future on foundation of trust".
