MANILA, Nov 29 Asia Pulse - Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo ordered the Cabinet Tuesday to get cracking on government programs to fight poverty and uplift the lives of the poor, pointing out that anti-poverty projects are fully covered by funds.
Presidential Chief of Staff Michael Defensor told a press briefing in Philippine Presidential Palace Malacanang that the President issued the directive during the Cabinet meeting.
