Nov. 29--Gasoline rose by an average of almost 4 cents a gallon on Long Island last week, amid strong demand for holiday driving and what analysts said was refinery downtime earlier this month for maintenance, which constrained supplies. Heating oil prices also rose, but slightly, and futures prices yesterday for it and natural gas rose on a forecast of cold weather this weekend that suggested stronger demand to come.
Some analysts say gasoline prices could slip by a few cents...
