I read with avid interest "Best Restaurants" in the July issue. It addresses most of the criteria one considers in selecting a restaurant. However, an important health trend was overlooked, that of clean air. How well are restaurants eliminating smoke from nonsmoking areas in those unfortunate states that have not joined the 21st century in health issues? Please consider adding "Secondhand smoke" to the "5 problems that can sour a meal" in your next restaurant report.
