London, Nov 30 (PTI) British authorities have decided to free more than 150 illegal immigrants and failed asylum seekers from custody following protests by inmates at the country's largest detention centre at Harmondsworth in West London.
The illegal immigrants came out of their rooms and lighted fires in protest against alleged mistreatement by jail officials. The incident was sparked by a guard turning off a television set.
