A couple of bumbling Spanish thieves, looking for gold in a legendary city, are mistaken for gods. This retraces the '80s movie "Three Amigos" about out-of-work movie actors in a Mexican village mistaken for cowboys on a rescue mission.
The friendship between the thieves, wise-cracking their way through the film, also takes after the banter of the duo in "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid."
