U-Haul International is out to put the nix on the "meter on the stick" reputation generally attributed to propane refueling stations.

Well on its way, the prominent rental company recently unveiled its new, state-of-the-art refueling dispenser island in Austin, Texas. Others will soon open in Los Angeles. Both feature conventional-style fuel dispenser along with a credit card and fleet card reader.

Richard Herrera, U-Haul's vice president of retail sales, says while many are hesitant about investing in alternative fuels, U-Haul is ready to pave the way.
