BEIJING, Nov 28 Asia Pulse - China's Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) recently published its monitoring of wheat market in October.
Winter wheat sowing area will remain stable.
MOA has set the task of maintaining over 690 million mu (15 mu equal to a hectare) sowing area for winter wheat this year, of which, the sowing area to grain crops should be no less than 380 million mu and the winter wheat area will stabilize at 320 million mu.
Meanwhile, the per unit yield in the Yellow River-Huaihe area will stabilize above 300 kg per mu; and the sowing area of quality wheat will be expanded.
