MAJURO, Nov 28 Asia Pulse - The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has cancelled its long-planned almost US$8 million loan to the Marshall Islands, due to repayment concerns. The loan was to have been used to improve infrastructure on the Marshalls' remote atolls.
The Marshall Islands is delinquent on current loan payments and the ADB has expressed reservations about the ability of the tiny Pacific nation to manage its increasing debt levels.
