Education-funding questions in Florida are seldom simple but, in the July 18 referendum, Sarasota County voters will face a clear-cut proposal.
The ballot question will ask whether voters favor an additional 1 mill tax, to be levied during the next two fiscal years, "for operating expenses to maintain Sarasota County's school system."
