NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 23, 2000

Data highlights for June 12-18, 2000:

-- Internet Users Catch 'Survivor' Fever, Boosting CBS.com's
        Traffic by 44%

The Internet ratings report for the week ending June 18 from Nielsen//NetRatings, the fastest growing Internet audience measurement service in the industry from Nielsen Media Research, ACNielsen eRatings.com and NetRatings, Inc. (Nasdaq:NTRT), indicates that the CBS reality show, "Survivor," has hit a chord with many Internet users as CBS.com's audience traffic jumped 44 percent this past week.

CBS.com garnered a unique audience of more than 600,000, as compared to 417,000 unique visitors the week prior, with 40 percent of its total audience surfing the "Survivor" homepage. Web surfers also spent 36 percent more time at CBS.com since "Survivor" debuted three weeks ago. Of those at-home Web surfers visiting the site, 56 percent were female and 44 percent were male.

"TV sites that achieve the largest share of audience have been those that successfully integrate their online content with their on-air programming," said T.S. Kelly, Director of Internet Media Strategies at NetRatings. "CBS.com has designed its 'Survivor' page to be informational and interactive, providing show updates, survivor profiles and a contest for viewers to guess which one of the survivors will be kicked off the island each week."

Father's Day Prompts Rush to Greeting Card Sites

Many Internet surfers, at home and in the workplace, turned to online greeting cards to wish their Dads a happy Father's Day. Egreetings.com experienced the largest growth among Internet users at-work with a 56 percent traffic increase and Hallmark.com showed the biggest increase among Web surfers at-home with a 44 percent jump in audience size. Excite@Home's BlueMountain.com escalated 43 percent to four million unique visitors at-home while AmericanGreetings.com rose 27 percent to 2.8 million unique visitors.
