The American College of Physicians' self-assessment program continues to factor into the ongoing negotiations on recertification for internists.
The ultimate role the ACP's Medical Knowledge Self-Assessment Program (MKSAP) in the recertification process remains unclear, ACP President Dr. Munsey S. Wheby told this newspaper. "We hope MKSAP will continue to be an important part of recertification.... We haven't settled yet on areas of discussion."
