MANHATTAN -- The Kansas State University Marching Band has selected members of the band's auxiliary squads for the 2000-2001 school year.
Members of the Classy Cats dance squad, flag squad and twirling squad were selected through tryouts. The squads perform at home football games, parades, pep rallies and other events. Members of the auxiliary squads are:
Karly McKinley, freshman in elementary education, Basehor, Classy Cats; Kacey Ferren, freshman in apparel design and production, Burns, flag squad; Andrea Whipple, senior in kinesiology, Dighton, Classy Cats.
From Dodge City: Erin Hiers, sophomore in business administration, twirler; Crystal Robbins, sophomore in civil engineering, flag squad; and Angela Zimmerman, junior in French and secondary education, Classy Cats.
Megan Stinnett, freshman in business administration, Edwardsville, flag squad; Megan Tibbetts, junior in nutritional sciences, Emporia, Classy Cats; Erin Hjetland, sophomore in agricultural journalism and communications, Everest, flag squad.
