According to my next guest, November through April is historically the best performing time of the year for stocks. And for more on this and a look at the bulls on Wall Street, we go to John Wilson. He`s chief technical strategist at Morgan Keegan and he joins us from Memphis. Welcome to the program.
JOHN WILSON, MORGAN KEEGAN: Thank you.
ROMANS: We`ve made this chart that I think is just so interesting that shows I think back from 1950, if you bought stocks in November and sold six months later, it shows a really fantastic gain overall, the value of $10,000 invested. If you look, you know, November through April as opposed to May through October, that would tell you this is the best time -- don`t be buying Christmas presents. You need to be buying stocks, right?
WILSON: That`s kind of what it`s telling you. That is a pretty staggering chart when you look at it. What I think is interesting about it is if you take in the context of everything that`s going on right now, you`ve got the pretty well-known presidential cycle. We`re right mid of it....
