At a school which supposedly values brains over brawn, public misbehavior by several Harvard football players has tarnished its reputation as the world's most prestigious university.
Within the last year, the captain was kicked off the team for breaking into his girlfriend's dorm room, the quarterback was suspended for five games for ignoring unspecified team rules and a senior running back was dismissed for actions the coach called "disgusting" at the annual pre-season skit night.
All this at a school which does not award scholarships and plays in the Ivy League conference, which does not send a team to NCAA Division I-AA championships.
