Keith Hellawell, the UK Anti-Drugs Co-ordinator, today welcomed the publication by the Office for National Statistics of the latest figures of drug misuse in young teenagers.

This is the latest in a series of surveys looking at health behaviour of young teenagers and although the 1998 survey included some questions about drug use, the focus has been on smoking and drinking.
