A FULL WORLD SERIES SHARE FOR THE 2002 WORLD CHAMPION ANAHEIM ANGELS WAS $272,147.47. A SHARE FOR THE NATIONAL League Champion San Francisco Giants was $186,185.62.

The players' pool, formed from 60 percent of the gate receipts from the first three games of the Division Series and 60 percent of the gate receipts from the first four games from the League Championship Series and World Series, was divided among 12 clubs: the World Series participants, the League Championship and Division Series runners-up, and the second-place finishers in each of the six divisions that were not wild card participants

The club-by-club breakdown follows.

WORLD SERIES CHAMPION

Anaheim Angels (Share of Players' Pool: $12,728,857.47; Value of each full share: $272,147.47). The Angels awarded 42 full shares, 14 partial shares and 8 cash awards.

NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPION

San Francisco Giants (Share of Players' Pool: $8,485,904.98; Value of each full share: $186,185.62) The Giants awarded 40 full shares, 15 partial shares and 14 cash awards.
