A $12 million plan to expand Saint Stephen's Episcopal School will provide a new face for the 3900 block of Manatee Avenue West.

The school bought the plaza containing an Eckerd drug store so it could acquire land to expand its 650-student school to hold as many as 850 students. The new buildings will house grades 9-12.
