Richard Chizmar is the founder, publisher and editor of Cemetery Dance Publications, launched in 1988. From its beginnings as publisher of Cemetery Dance magazine, then of collectors' book editions, CD has evolved into arguably the nation's most influential publisher of horror and other dark fiction.

PW: For years no one in the States would publish Richard Laymon [see review of The Traveling Vampire Show]. Now he's back in print ma big way, primarily through you. Why are you publishing him?
