Nikki Messer found her Big Sister Carol Sieloff at Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Sun Coast but more than 40 Englewood children are still waiting for their perfect match.
Once a week Carol and Nikki go to a movie, or bake cookies and play board games. Although not that exciting or life-altering, those three hours a week mean a whole lot to both of them. They are one of about 40 Englewood pairs of "Bigs and Littles" matched by Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast.
Nikki is a smart, shy, third-grader at Vineland Elementary School who likes reading, cheerleading and ice cream.
