Encore program students from Out-of-Door Academy participated in a weeklong seminar with violinist Patrick Foley last month.

Foley worked with all orchestra and Suzuki violin students and performed a concert with the students Jan. 17 at Church of the Redeemer. The group performed the Vivaldi Violin Concerto with Orchestra, as well as many classics and pop pieces.

The Sunrise Chapter of the American Business Women's Association is awarding $1000 scholarships.
