New revelations have poked some holes in a company s claim that it produced a cloned human baby. Clonaid, a firm founded by the U.S.-based Raelian sect, made the announcement of an infant clone at the end of December. Now, Michael Guillen, who is an independent researcher and journalist brought in by Clonaid to verify its claims, says in news reports that he suspects the cloning to be "an elaborate hoax" because he has been denied access to the infant clone and its alleged family.
