Web Site to Bring Communities Together Around Los Angeles'
Participation in the 2000 Democratic National Convention
OneNetNow.com, a community Web site focused on bridging the Digital Divide, today announced that it has launched the LAHost2000.org Web site on behalf of the Los Angeles Host Committee for the 2000 Democratic National Convention, which is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles in August.
As the L.A. Convention 2000 Web site host, OneNetNow.com also volunteered its technical staff to create the LAHost2000.org Web site. The site's features include a live photo of downtown Los Angeles, information for Angelenos wishing to participate in volunteer or youth activities, state-by-state delegate information, and resources for out-of-town participants. Visitors to the LA Host 2000.org site will be able to post messages on bulletin boards, organize or participate in chat rooms or even write articles related to the "Delegates," "Youth," "Volunteer," "About L.A." or the "1960 Convention" sections of the site via a link to the LA Convention 2000 community at OneNetNow.com.
