Franklin Templeton Announces Promotion of Philip Bensen.

SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 4, 2000
Franklin Templeton Distributors, Inc. today announced the promotion of Philip Bensen to West Coast National Sales Manager for its Financial Institutions Division.
His new responsibilities include working closely with wholesalers in his division to deliver increased sales support and sales ideas to Franklin Templeton's bank brokerage clients in the Western part of the United States.
Bensen will report to H.G. "Toby" Mumford, National Director of Sales for the Financial Institutions Division. "The addition of a sales manager in the West is part of our continued focus on the bank coverage market," said Mumford. "Phil brings a great deal of experience to this new post having had firsthand experience as a broker, wholesaler and sales manager."
Bensen joined Franklin Templeton in 1990 as a wholesaler for the financial advisor division. He was promoted to Western Divisional Manager/Vice President in 1991. In 1998, he was named national ...
