SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 8, 2000
The San Diego Soccer Development Corporation (SDSDC), (OTCBB:SDSD) dba The San Diego FLASH, announced today the summer schedule of its popular Soccer Academy, the Official Camp of the San Diego FLASH. The soccer academy will be conducted throughout San Diego County beginning July 10, 2000.
Under the guidance of camp director and FLASH midfielder Noah Ginz, the soccer academy will teach participants life, passing, dribbling, goalkeeping, striking and scoring skills. In December, the Soccer Academy hosted a sold-out 3-day Winter Camp at San Diego's Robb Field. Last Saturday, the Academy traveled to the parkway sports center in El Cajon to conduct a clinic for 60 children. On March 18, the Academy will host 250 youth players for a camp at a local-area high school.
The Soccer Academy begins its 8-week summer schedule on July 10-14 at Robb Field, with week-long camps being conducted until August 25. Along with the six camps slated for Robb Field, the Soccer Academy will also be conducted in the East County, South Bay and North County areas (sites to be determined).
